The Industrial BID sponsored another successful Coffee with a Cop, hosted by the Little Tokyo Galleria at the Coffee Bean & Tea store inside this eclectic shopping mall.  LAPD Central Bureau Deputy Chief Mike Oreb and Central Area Captain Elaine Morales met directly with dozens of stakeholders.  Many of Central Area’s senior lead officers were there as well to help answer questions and provide advice to business owners and residents.  Representatives from Assemblymember Miguel Santiago and Councilmember Kevin de Leon were on hand to provide assistance with any issues at the state and local level.

The Little Tokyo Galleria is a landmark building where the the Industrial, Arts and Little Tokyo communities meet at Third St. and Central Ave.  It’s home to dozens of retail shops, restaurants and the extremely popular X Lanes restaurant, sports bar and bowling alley.  There’s a large Japanese and Asian supermarket on the ground floor that provides local foodies with all of their favorites, including a sushi station, a poke station and an Asian bakery.

The Industrial District BID thanks the Galleria for their hospitality and support for this important community event.
