The Industrial District BID regularly tracks a number of security and maintenance statistics, with selected indicators.
Trash Removal
In total, 40,122 bags of trash were removed in Q2 2021, weighing 601 tons. We’ve experienced a 37% increase over our 2019 totals and 50% increase in trash compared to 2020.
Pressure Wash Requests
The BID provides pressure washing services now upon request, to mitigate public health hazards from bodily fluids and waste on sidewalks and in business doorways.
In Q2 2021, the BID received a total of 1,236, almost a 20% increase over the previous quarter. 2021 YTD totals are up 35% from 2020 and 41% compared to 2019.
Graffiti Removal Requests
During Q2 2021, the BID responded to 1,647 graffiti removal requests.
Public Safety Service Requests
The BID responded to 753 public safety incidents during Q2 2021.
