The votes are in! Our district stakeholders overwhelming supported the BID’s renewal for five more years. The final vote was 78% in favor to 21% opposed. BID staff and everyone on our security and maintenance teams are grateful for the support of our stakeholders and we look forward to continuing to provide services to the business and property owners in our area. And beginning in 2022, our boundaries will extend south one additional block. See our new District Map.
The challenges in the area are as high as they’ve ever been. And while we do our best to address your needs at street level, we are also relentlessly advocating for policy changes at City Hall. We track legislation that affects sidewalk access, cleanups, infrastructure, planning and land use so that BID stakeholders can make their voices heard.
