Comfort LA, our amazing soul food eatery on 7th Street, was named by Eater LA on its list of 17 Superb Restaurants in Downtown LA. Like so many other dining spots, Comfort LA held on during the ongoing pandemic and kept providing take-out and delivery, hoping for an end to Covid and the resulting restrictions on restaurants. We are almost there, and we are so proud of owner Mark Walker, his business partner Jeremy McBryde, and all of their amazing team at Comfort LA! Meanwhile over at ROW DTLA, a campaign donated more than 2,000 meals to frontline workers at nearby Keck Hospital at USC. It was an amazing way to support local restaurants while giving back to the essential workers serving our community. From March 20 – April 16, every meal purchased at ROW (in-person dining or takeout) resulted in a donation for a meal for Keck workers. The campaign kicked off with the help of Phil Rosenthal, host of Netflix's Somebody Feed Phil and creator of Everybody Loves Raymond. Great food and a great cause came together at ROW!
